I had some progress pictures and decided to make a tutorial out of them. I hope this helps somebody out there. :D

Would this work for your average pair of work boots? Like timberland boots or something similar?

We've never tried, but it should work. :)

This is an awesome tutorial! I'm trying to paint shoes and this really helps! Have you ever used Krylon spray paint before? Design Master doesn't have the colors I need and Krylon was right next to the Design Master at Jo-Anne's. It does say it can be sprayed on fabric on the back of the can. Do you think Krylon will work as well as Design Master?
Please reply as soon as possible! The con I'm wearing my shoes at is in 2 weeks >.<

I'm so sorry that we didn't respond sooner. It might work. Some people have had success with Krylon spray paint before, but we haven't ever tried it on shoes. I used normal spray paint on boots one time and it cracked really bad. If that happens, you just have to strip the paint off and repaint the shoes. I've had the best results with Angelus Leather paints and the Design Master floral spray paint. -Tranquility

I'm worried about messing up a brand new pair of shoes. Will acrylic paint from the art store work on faux suede shoes?
